Springtime brings beautiful surprises. One of our residents captured this feeling with a haiku that we wanted to share:

This year, we are thankful to be participating in an innovative virtual arts program facilitated by Silverkite and funded by a state grant. Each week they offer two synchronous online workshops that are designed specifically to meet the needs of elders. Offerings include dance, creative writing, visual arts, and music. In addition to access to the online courses, we received 59 SPARK boxes which include non-toxic washable art supplies along with instructions for activities to facilitate intergenerational connections. It has been so exciting to see our residents get inspired! We look forward to sharing more of their creativity with the community.
