I’m interested in volunteering. What now?
First, what special part of yourself do you want to share? Our volunteers range from people who like to visit one-on-one to others who enjoy helping create art, and still others who love to read fiction to an attentive group of listeners. Once you find your own interests, we’ll help match you with ways you can help.
Volunteers are an important part of the Chaparral community. They help connect residents to the community beyond, bring new enthusiasm and energy, and do the little extra things that make a big difference in the life of the residents.
If you would like additional information, or would like to tour Chaparral House and meet our residents, or are ready to volunteer and would like to schedule an orientation interview, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kim Larsen, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 510-848-8774 x107.
